I painted these up for my brother. His carpal tunnel keeps him from painting much anymore.

I almost ordered that same skeletal warrior. Great job man. I love the color scheme you chose.

I just bought Ebonwrath, the Black Dragon. Might be a while til he is finished. I plan on that one being more of a showcase model. I have to paint up 4 Mantic Skellies this week, so those should be up soon. Anyways.. enough of my rambling.

There were some wide eyes the first time that warrior hit the table. The PCs knew they were in for a fight. They downed the croanies pretty quick, but were extremely low on health. The show boating, boisterous fighter finally threw some good dice and wound up tackling him. Then a strength check every round until he was redead, lol. The fighter took significant damage from the life drain, but managed to hold on long enough forr his friends to make the kill. It was an epic save on his part. They would not have survived without that move.

Ebonwrath is a great sculpt, albeit small for a Huge Ancient Worm, which is what I need for my games. Still, it works for a Young Adult Dragon, for size. I wanted to achieve an effect seen in an old Dragon Magazine cover, with a Black Dragon on it. That Dragon had white reflecting off his scales, and I thought about dry-brushing with white, or using White Magic Wash, but in the end, I just left it with a glossy clear coat of Future Floor Polish -- it worked! I am a simplistic painter, so i am genuinely looking forward to seeing what you come up with. Cheers!

I love super-shiny dragon scales. Maybe I will just use snakeskin, LOL.
