Looks like Spiderman has got himself some Doc Octopus goodness. Come to think of it, the Spidey mask is reminiscent of that ole devil Baalzebul (1e MM 1). Looking forward to seeing some progress on this!

I primered him black and then I drybrushed him with red, then orange then a little yellow. He still looked a little too much like Spiderman, so I mixed up some epoxy putty and did a little more work -- on his head, feet, wings and viscera. Here are a couple pics. Still more work to do...

Love it. What did you use to make the wings? Green stuff? Apoxie sculpt? Something else?

The wings are just paper and hot glue. I actually used newspaper (because it was handy.) I was careful with the lines on the wings, using a small glue gun. The drybrushing brings the lines out.

Wow! What an amazing transformation. That demon looks nasty. I'm planning for him to be the primary demon nemesis in my campaign. I'm so over Orcus and Lolth right now. I still have a fondness for Demogorgon however...

wilmanric, I ddid a similar thing with a batman figure. I made the wings from foam paper and epoxy putty. I also have a bunch of halloween bats I purchased for pennies after Halloween ended and I cut the wings off the bats and use them for this sort of thing.

Here's a batman turned into a winged, horned demon. I did take some time on my batman mini to use a dremel tool to grind off most of the recognizable things, like his utility belt and the lines of his cowl, and I cut his feet to look like cloven hoofs, but otherwise it's just Batman. And here's a horned devil I made from a troll using the Halloween bat wings. I could have done the same thing with one of my superhero figures. These two were both major players in the epic save the world battle that just concluded our two year long campaign against a demon invasion. I highly recommend the use of mass produced wings from bats, birds and insects. I have a bunch of butterfly wings I use to make little fey creatures.
