Im to dumb for all this time zones. Germany is GMT+1, but because summertime it should be +2, this means the live show start one hour after midnight, very early at saturday in Germany. I'am correct?

I'm confused.... how can you have a Teaser clip from a live show that hasn't happened yet?

Yes. If it is GMT +2 then it is at 1am if you want to watch it live. This is the same time zone for South Africa and Central Africa as well.

I'm confused.... how can you have a Teaser clip from a live show that hasn't happened yet? Have you not seen an advert for a sporting event that hasn't been played yet? We had to do tests to make sure everything would work with 3 people. We thought we might as well talk about things that are relevant and use that footage to give you a taste of what the live show will be like. Might as well make the advert enjoyable and help promote the style of show it will be.

Have you not seen an advert for a sporting event that hasn't been played yet? You mean kinda like this, while it doesn't have any sports casters talking in it, it's a similar idea!

Couple of things: Is the music going to run the whole show like it did during the teaser? Just wondering as that kind of was distracting to me. Beyond that great jobs guys, was entertaining. I will say I didn't realize AJ was non-American... So I was surprised to hear him, I don't know what I expected him to sound like, but that it was not On a side note: in regards to the minis, I used to obsessively collect the prepainted Wotc minis, and you hit the nail on the head. I have so many random minis I will probably never use, but am missing so many that I need or could want one ofs (like the uber expensive Glabrezu for instance). I did luck out and got a pretty decent collection from a friend who was moving for like $40, the entire batch would likely cost upwards of $500 on ebay these days, maybe more. Looking forward to the next show.

Yes, I am from New Zealand (a Kiwi), which is how we manage to film the live show before anyone else can see it, because New Zealand is so far ahead of the international date line.. I think that comment about the flamingos stemmed from some comments about me making Garden Gnomes.. so, not totally random. Well, still fairly random. Also, I was pondering doing a regular-ish youtube segment on the best or most interesting posts on the forum.. would that interest anyone?

That could be interesting, do you mean post talking about the most interesting design/craft or just most interesting post, cause yea that could get interesting. But yea, that sounds cool.

I think it will be just things that are current, things that deserve a look, and posts from the archives that are very cool.. there is a lot there that new members have missed.

Alrighty! Its done... episode one of The Mighty Gluestick has been created. Please help me out by sending messages to me with your favourite posts, images, web sites, youtube channels, etc.. so I can share them with all the crafters. I will try to keep each episode under 10 minutes. Oh, and I have a slightly better intro graphic for episode two Might even highlight some of the many, many new techniques I have learned from this fantastic community! Link man link... [TheDMG] I

I am not a sport watcher, but my father was and I remember adverts where they spliced together footage from other games with the two teams to create a teaser for the weekend games. Or like a teaser for the news... Tonight at 6... Often times trailers for hollywood films use scenes and footage that is ultimately cut or was never meant to be in the film, or they create trailers which use no footage from the film at all. In essence it is better to show you something akin to what the content will contain, than talk about the content and misrepresent the experience. It is a live show about people talking about DnD, RPGs and crafting with cardboard. That sentence doesn't sell it. Hopefully the trailer does a better job.
