Also, should I use white glue or hot glue when securing the two layer together?

wilmanric, those blocks are amazing! I love the pattern on them. I need to find some of those blocks, because I want to make some of these right now! So many cool ideas come to mind. I'm planning to do some sci-fi games soon, and making blocks covered in panels and computer screens would be a lot of fun.

I use 2 inch wood blocks as risers for my DF tiles (among other uses). They are 51 mm which is bit larger than the 50 mm of DF verticals, but it can be worked around. Want to see a tower? The Virgin Vault!

The cardboard I used is double layer. I didn't do anything special to it. It appears that the manufacturer did the 90° turn. I find if I use double-layer cardboard, the buckling is very minimal. Have you tried double layer? I tried the double layer stuff and found in very hard to but, haven't tried gluing two single layers together yet. I can get an infinite supply of single layer corrugated from the cafeteria where I teach, so there will be glue and paint flying Monday night in my basement. Thanks so much! If you are going to try and glue two layers of single corrugated cardboard together, I've found that it works best if you run the corrugation of the top piece across the corrugation of the bottom piece, instead of running in along the same line. This strengthens it when glued. Also inserting the wood skewers through the corrugations will help hold it straight. Make sure to use minimal amounts of white glue, spread thin, so as not to saturate the cardboard. After it is attached and straight, you can add a second coat of white glue to form a "hard shell" finish on it. Just a tip from my own experience.
