Threw together this dude in about a half hour. I was in a groove, so I didn't take as many pictures as I probably ought to have. I haven't painted the base, and I'll likely do some more details (like gyrm's snow flock). Hope you like it.

All this is done with hot-glue, wire, and paint. I guess some card-stock was used for the base as well.

For some, I made a big glob and carved out icy looking chunks. For others (including the ice blade) I carved straight from a stick of glue.
Be warned, this dulled my razors even faster than cutting foam or wood. It sure made some really fun textures, though.

This is seriously jaw-dropping. One of the coolest (pardon the pun) looking scratch-built miniatures I've seen in a long while!

I started my own ice elemental at once, but quickly decided that I'd rather make a 'walking ruin'- type elemental/golem, so the ice elemental has to wait a little longer.
I don't want to hijack your thread, so I'll post only a link.

If someone tells you that you have enough craft suplies and you don't need anymore, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

Very nice work. I know what you mean by getting into a groove. I finally switched from white glue for most of my craft work to hot glue. Once I get that glue gun going I start looking around for what else I can hot glue. Maybe the fumes are toxic....
