Hello everyone! My name is Benjamin. I'm 33 years old and I started DMing less than 6 months ago. Before that, I had never played D&D or any tabletop game, although as a kid I always wanted to (the ads in Marvel Comics just looked so cool!). I am a convert to Scotty's 2.5d approach and I've used a lot of Scotty's techniques as well as the DMG's. I needed a way to improve the flaws in my game but keep the fun, and 2.5d was the answer. I'll go into more detail about it in future posts. I plan on making some YouTube videos of stuff I have done recently, although I don't have many original ideas yet. I've simply been adapting the techniques I've learned. I've also been using some of these techniques to work into my board game modifications. More on those in the future too. I am a musician and I'm in college for Audio/Video production, so making some YouTube videos will be a great way to hone my production skills. You can check out my stuff so far if you like (youtube username "bschummer"), though there isn't any game stuff up yet, and all videos were made before I started school so they are pretty amateur. Look forward to sharing! My YouTube channel

Hello, Everyone! I am the Dungeon Mistress! Muahahahahaha! I am a long-time crafter and video game veteran. My kids, all grown now, got me into the video games, and then into RPG's, and then my best buddy and one-time neighbor got me into D&D and later taught me how to DM. Now, I have a group of 6 players who wander through my Pathfinder based world, they are Boris the Human Wizard (my husband), Layla Ilfukiir the Elven Rogue, Her body guard Yarr Brewfist the Dwarven Fighter, Tymo the Half-Elf Ranger (he has a secret),Pandak Sunspar the Human Cleric, and Horroar the Half-Orc Barbarian. I have come here from the Cardboard Warriors forum where I saw a link to thedmg, which ultimately lead me here! I live on an extremely limited income (disability) and have very little money to spend on tabletop gaming supplies. Cardboard mini's and terrain have provided me the where-with-all to put forth a visually interesting game. My very first build from scratch is here, if you are curious. I look forward to learning a lot from all of you here.

Thank you, 2dragon722. I have been newly re-inspired by thedmg and DMScotty. When I have finished my current projects, I will turn my mind to some of the ideas I have running around in my brain. I am think of a 2.5D or 3D version of Keep on Mountain Pass. Who knows what can happen?!

As you enter, the innkeeper of the 'Dancing Glue Gun' looks up at you, from cleaning his glasses, which you think even with a years worth of cleaning could only get worse. 'Welcome, welcome' he sais. 'Pull up a chair at the fire and share your tale of craftiness.'
Welcome to the craft! Hope you enjoy your stay!
