So I am 100% new to crafting. I originally got into terrain by the Dwarven Forge kickstarter campaign. I can't say enough good about DF, it is high quality, versatile, looks really great, the problem is it is expensive. I have found out that it doesn't work at all for caves and cavern set ups. Well sometime during the last month I was shown the DM's Craft youtube channel and the DMG channel and found a new world of stuff I can do to make my game rock for a lot less coin. So here they are my first tiles and home crafted stalagmites.

I really like the painted "step" areas in the tunnels! Good job!

Really cool. I like the manner in which you painted on the elevation steps. If you want to make them "pop" more, you could consider layering then cardstock in areas you want raised elevation. You can't over do it or else you'll havr to add another layer of wall to maintain the wall segments (cardstock can built up in depth pretty fast, esp. With Hotglue added), but it gives physical texture to the piece to similate rise in elevation.
But even without that they def. Look great
