A cluttered table an bookcase. The bookcase, table, and books are all stolen from DMG (with some variation on the books) and the potions are based on DM Brad's idea. The scrolls are white card stock wrapped around a bobby pin, soaked in coffee, and then dried. I'm pleased with them as a first attempt. I was surprised by how many books I used. Q

Nice work! I really like the crystal ball on the table. Looks amazing, almost like you can see something in it. Really like the detail on the books and scrolls too.

The crystal ball is a round glass bead that I painted with gloss nail polish to make it really shiny. :-)
The details are done with a micro point felt tip pen. I used an exacto knife to whittle the point down as sharp as I could. I've got big meat hook hands too, so I have to get creative. :-)

It's not stealing if I give it to you for free, but my Vampire Assassin Monkeys have been dispatched nonetheless... they need a workout.

They should be forewarned, I'm not above screaming and crying like a very large hairy girl.

Man, that jacuzzi looks awesome. Great job. Are those Wargames Factory skeletons?

Yep. Those are great. Lots of varied skeletons that aren't all that expensive per each.
I buried them partially in spackling compound and then dug them out with a dental pick after about 6 hours to get the lava texture.

I was just looking at your scrolls and thinking that the material you used was quite convincing. It looks kinda hairy, as cheap parchment often was, and with the codex in existence, I would imagine the higher quality stuff would be saved for that. In a lot of medieval manuscripts, there are complaints written in the margins by scribes, like "this parchment is hairy." Pretty fascinating stuff to me.
Anyway, I'm just trying to say your scrolls look good, carry on...
