Scale is a relative thing. I would really like to know how tall, in millimeters, the Cyclopes figures are. If they are close to the size I need per the 1977 AD&D Monster Manual, gauging a 1/72 scale, 6-foot tall Human as 25mm tall (six feet = 72 inches), I'd buy them for my fantasy armies and D&D games. Hoping to find that information relatively soon. Cheers!

Thank you, margaret! I never saw that on their web site. Uber-fantastic information! Now I need to pull out my 1977 1e AD&D Monster Manual, look up the critter's size, and do some simple mathematics which I also learned back in the 1970's... Cheers!

Bummer!I did the math calculations after I re-discovered that the Cyclops (Lesser and Greater) are listed in the 1e Deities & Demigods book (page 62, Greek Mythos). They are listed as being 20 and 21 feet tall. Doing the math, for 1/72 scale, the Cyclops figures will need to be 83mm to 88mm tall, to be in proper scale. These figures are roughly 1/2 the size I would prefer. This also explains why I did not remember Cyclops being more familiar as a monster, in my AD&D memory banks of gaming experiences! I rarely used the Greek mythos. I started playing in 1980, and in 1983, I began developing my own, unique pantheon of gods, which I still use today. Cyclops might have been used as a monster by me, as the DM, back in those early years, but never since. Still, I loved Greek mythology, as a boy, and they have a special place in my heart. Disappointing. Very disappointing. It does give me hope, however. Now I know how tall my Cyclops figures need to be! I can try searching for Cave Men/Neanderthal figures in the proper size, perhaps... Cheers!

Did some Googling... Found this one, on etsy: 70mm tall, for around $23. The size is very close. I just need to decide if I really want some for my RPG and 2e BS games? Wow, three models would run me almost $70! Not sure I want to lay that much down for toys I will rarely use. I will continue Googling... Cheers!

My players are setting up some towns in a mountain-encircled valley, with Elves, Centaurs, Dwarves, and Gnomes in it. The mountains which ring the valley, are inhabited by all sorts of Giants. The PC's kicked out a very large tribe of Hobgoblins, who had a tenuous alliance with the Giant races. Someone is organizing the Giants, and working to whip them into an army, to eradicate these pesky Humans from the Valley! What a perfect opportunity to introduce Cyclops into the game world...
I've been toying with different BBEG's who are orchestrating the whole mess of things in the valley. This could be a lot of fun. The Hobgoblins have been building their forces, and equipping them, for several years, with the goal of taking over the entire Valley, and its surrounding mountain mines, for themselves. This will prove to be quite a shock for the players, as they never knew Cyclops existed in my game world. Perfect opportunity to introduce something fresh, and new. H-e-l-l-o, Amazon.com: order incoming! Cheers!
