I really like the toilet paper technique for the stone. Very effective.

Great stuff. Consider the toilet paper technique stolen!

Is it toilet paper that gives the irregular walls.

Thank you all. The toilet paper technique is used both on the statues stands and on the cavern walls : I use wallpaper powder adhesive. First I put a thick layer of glue on the cardboard. Then I place a sheet of toilet paper. I cover the toilet paper with another layer of glue. The paper must be completly wet. It's paper mache... (it crumples a bit under the brush what make the desired effect) I'll try to take some photos this week-end if I can.

Very, very nice, Farfade. I especially like the organic grid design.
Looks like you have the same "heroic" miniatures I got from Caesar miniatures. Did you also get the awesome troll mini with those?

It's just 3 layers of cardboard gued together, then recovered with toilet paper (I do wet the toilet paper with wallpaper glue just like paper mache).

Nice work farfade, just one bit of advice, try painting the torch flames with white and yellow at the bottom, and cooling toward the top with orange, then red.. looks more like a real flame. Also, loved seeing a pot of tea on the gaming table.. what are those character sheets? Looks like the 4th ed game screen you have there..
