So Awesome! I love these. Awesome terrain, awesome adventure and awesome way your group works together and tries to figure out what is going on! Awesome! Great terrain, and an awe-inspiring variation of the purple worm! How did you achieve that tarry, glinting look? Thanks a lot, guys. Means a lot coming from veteran DMs and master crafters such as yourselves. It is a really cool adventure, very open and adaptable. I've used so much stuff that I picked up from here to add to it, like the Pudding Worm, so the forum deserves a lot of the credit also. No matter what system you play, I think it would be worth your time to give this module a look. This is really the first time I've ran a regular campaign to the point where I can see an end (of a tier, at least), so I'm really excited and have to resist telling my players too much. Can't wait! Tauster, to be honest with you, I made him in a hurry because I thought that encounter was going to happen much before it did. All I really did was lobbed hot glue around it in rough rings and spray painted it with a black gloss. I made the mouth in two parts to give the appearance that the teeth continue for some ways down, so I painted each separately and then stuck them all together. I had planned to make a purple worm, and thought of this at the last minute (or so I thought), so I had to keep the shape rather static to keep it balanced. I also stuck some rocks in there, which I think was your suggestion in the Purple Worm thread. Maybe one day I'll get back around to a purple one. DM Scotty, I couldn't multiquote you because they were on separate pages, but thanks as always!!

Thanks for the kudos, gentlemen!
Terrainaholic, awesome to have you here. My stuff pales in comparison to the work you do, so I REALLY appreciate the compliment. You might have noticed I started out making 3d stuff, so I've been following your channel for a while, probably even before I found the DM's Craft. Good to see two related communities sharing ideas and working together.

Thanks for the praise, guys! I generally prefer to post pics from the game as it happens, partially so I don't have to worry about a player wandering in here and seeing his future, but I'm gonna make a small exception since it's been a while since I updated this. I'm also not entirely sure about the status of my group, so it could be a while before we play again. This tile is going to be used for a relatively small encounter that I didn't really have to make anything for. But since my carrion crawlers will make their debut here, i thought it worth the time. It's also kinda cool to me that this is the second piece for which I've made everything except for the PC minis. Anyway, enough rambling. This is a ruined dining hall for the barracks encounter of Gardmore Abbey. Past the pile of debris in the back is a hallway that leads to the barracks and a stairway down into a dungeon, but since there isn't going to be a battle in those places, I'll just use theater of the mind to describe what happens there. It is standard foam core technique, except I put a product called MagiKote on the walls. It made them considerably stronger, created a good painting surface, and may have even added a little texture. Anyway, I'm rambling again... Well is made from Sculpey.
