I'm so freaking excited!
The curing process, is there more I can read on that?
I have indoor grow tents with plenty of full range LEDs with bumped up UV waves, do you think I could just throw them under a UV light instead of the sun itself?

I no longer do any post curing of any kind. I have found that if you don't do any post curing, the models still retain a very slight amount of flexibility, and could possibly survive dropping them on the floor. Doing post curing (sunlight or UV light) can make them brittle.

Uncured resin is fairly toxic. There are flexible additives you can add that help a lot. Cured resin can be very brittle and I have shattered a few minis dropping them. Not sure which method is better but I can't imagine not curing them is healthy long term.

I should probably clarify. The resin is cured in the printing process to a stable form. I tend to give it a extra second or two per layer to make sure it is cured. I bathe my minis for a day in a two stage IPA bath. When the minis come out there is no liquid (uncured resin) left on them. I then prime them with spray paint.

Yeah I do mine a little different. I use Chitubox for my slicer with 18 second exposure times for Elegoo Grey. I take them off the bed and drop them in a container with IPA. I actually seal it and shake them up really well for a couple minutes and then take them out. Then they get a hot water rinse and I remove the supports. If you haven't tried hot water support removal then you don't know what you are missing! Then I dry and cure for about 15 minutes with a UV light.

I work for a non-profit, and they just announced a one-time bonus check for us... Unfortunately, we need a new TV, so my wife and I are pooling our bonus monies for that. The resin 3D printers are very tempting. So is a laser cutter/engraver, but my nephew has one, if I really want to do that type of work. Sooo many technological toys, sooo little time left to live, to work on all of them... Cheers!

Skipping the TV leaves you with more money and more time!

Ah, but wouldn't a spouse be so glad that the other is content doing 3d prints all day?
Maybe not but I can hope for that result!
