I picked up this big robed figure at a flea market, any great suggestions on paint jobs and/or modifications/conversions? He's much too large to end up being a medium sized monster, but I'm sure he's made to be something... After all, if I convert to USD, I paid about 20 cents for him ;-) The skeleton is a standard GW one - he was just handy for scale.

Cool mini, great price, congrats! Some ideas: - the ghost of a giant - if you have a similar-looking mini of regular size, this could be the same guy after an enlarge spell - a giant sorcerer - a statue (painted as rock, rusted iron or copper & verdigris)

Thanks for the inspiration :-)
I think I'll add these ideas to what I'm already considering. And the craft will go here in this thread when I make it.

Could be the statue of an evil god/demon... Of course it will "come to life", when the PC's get close to it -- especially if they have a Vial of Holy Water in their hands as they walk up to it!
It could also be an Iron/Stone Golem (variation on the temple statue idea, above). They do not have to be bare-skinned, wearing a loin cloth. If the stone/iron material can move, and flex, so, too, could a cape they happen to be sculpted with, flex and move. Cheers!
