With my crazy brain, I'm never going to be able to get it together enough to post here with any consistency so I've decided to get all my ramshackle (mostly work in progress) projects under a single banner.
I'll try to update as much as I am able.

A tiny bit of progress on the swamp tree, texturing all those branches is going to be a chore. The mausoleum got a wash, still debating with myself over the monochrome & experimented with a new technique for ground tiles.

Looks great! Hit some random bricks with an off grey color wash and you'll be fine. I like the use of earring back clips for the handles!
I like the tile in front there, looks double sided with hirst arts on the bottom?

I have an abundance of earring backs, my wife swaps all hers out for plastic ones, I'm always trying to find a use for them. & The tile is just foam I salvaged here in town. I have a couple I use to try out different paint schemes and techniques. Hirst moulds are beautiful, but expensive.

That tree is creepy, especially the angle of the skull rather than just parallel with the tree, awesome!!

That tree is creepy, especially the angle of the skull rather than just parallel with the tree, awesome!! Thank you, I'm especially fond of the tree but progress has been slow. It was meant for October's g uild build. I tried out an inexpensive 5-minute epoxy for the first time to fill that muckpuddle and it still has not cured fully after 3-4 weeks. Still workshopping how to remedy that sticky situation.

I found a color palette I really like so I've been crafting a lot of desert terrain. Here are a few of the desert plants I've done so far. Miniatures for scale. The skinny bloodthorns are based on bread ties, something I tried & really liked. The edges are irregular enough to not trigger my ire for square bases and they fit snuggly in a 1 inch square.

Very effective use of seed pods! I had to look closely to see that they ARE seed pods. And your color scheme is perfect.

A second beholder. This one is a bit smaller than yesterday's. Both of the central-eyes will be lit with blue-white LEDs.

I wasn't thrilled with how the paint was looking on the mausoleum & set it aside but I think I'll take another crack at it soon. -- & I really lucked out as far as the GuildBuild goes. I was working on something else for the challenge and time enough to do it justice just ran up so i cranked out something quick & easy.

Excellent work! Love the spell effects, as well as all of the rest.
Your cactus are very, very good. Just visited the Phoenix, Arizona area, for work. The cacti were blooming, from the rains, with yellow and purple fruits on them. It was gorgeous, in so many ways. Your cacti really made me think about the beauty we enjoyed -- great representation of such plants! Makes me yearn to go back... Cheers!

The water effect was a bit of a disaster but it's been stabilized. The paint job really needs some contrast. It'll also need a few swamp-ish plants and a bit of flocking but I've been pretty discouraged about the whole thing at this point. Any suggestions?

This had been sitting to the side for awhile. It's 9 floors with just the top few to finish up. They stack together more cleanly than pictured below. I know it needs some architectural fluff to pull it all together but I'm not sure what to do. Anyone have a good resource or advice on how to polish off this ramshackle fort?
