Hi guys I thought I would create a thread with my new/first 3D designs that have recently gone up on my store at www.cgtrader.com/free-3d-print-models/miniatures/figurines/great-club-28mm Although the selection is currently very small I am working to release more of both free and paid models. I have been working on huge Ice golem, which I will upload soon. The thing that I have found most amazing about this whole process was how much support there is out there for modelling and making things like this if you are interested dm me and I can point you in the right direction.

Since you're near the top of the list under 3D printing, thought I'd ask you some questions and background about me.
Getting back into modeling after 20 years, but going for 1/35th scale zombie/apocalypse dioramas. One thing I did NOT look forward to was scratch building a lot things, make a silicone mold of it, then resin copies. That's when I remembered a guy who 3D printed a V-1 German rocket in 1/32nd scale a few years ago on a modeling website.
Been checking Youtube for product reviews on them and have decided to buy a Anycubic Proton resin printer next year, mainly because the piece made would be one piece with out having to deal with clogged nozzles, heated bed, etc. Since then, found a lot of free programs for things I would of normally had to scratch build and make multiple copies of at the same time. Now I don't know snot about 3D printers and trying to learn how to use Microsofts simple CAD program.
So what I'd like to know is what knowledge did you have about 3D printers BEFORE you bought it and what was your learning curve from making blobs of plastic to something recognizable? A few days, weeks, months? Thank you for your time.
