I have the Monoprice Maker Select V2 (Wanhao I3).
It's been a while since I updated Cura. I installed a fresh operating system and downloaded the latest version of Cura.
I see that it has changed dramatically (the entire look and feel an all).
Which version should I run? The latest in the 15.x version or the latest 2.x version?
I am familiar with the older gui and I know it works well with my printer.
Any help greatly appreciated, thanks.

I have three versions of Cura now and I just use the one I got first because I know where things are and how it works. Each newer version seems to have removed some setting that I want to fiddle with or hidden some function I'm used to seeing. I see no reason to learn a new version until the one I'm currently using shows itself unable to produce the results I want.

If you are going to use the newer version of Cura make sure you get the latest one (2.5 at the moment), there were quite a few bugs that have been fixed. The newer version has some new advanced options, but some of the features from the old one are missing. I think there were a few options for support material that I really liked in the new one. Also slicing should be much faster. I haven't used it much though since I got Simplify3D.
I guess if you get good results from the one you use currently there aren't any major reasons to switch, it's just personal preference.
