I made them using wire and then hot glue, once I'm done i spray painted them with a high gloss black primer. after this has dried your ready for the next step. get yourself some dollar store 5min epoxy resin (wear gloves and be careful it can be nasty stuff), mix it up and add a generous amount of black paint, carefully drizzle over each pudding allowing it to pool slightly over the edge (MAKE SURE YOU ARE DOING THIS ON BAKING/WAX PAPER OR IT WILL PERMANENTLY STICK TO THE SURFACE). Lastly to make a undisturbed black pudding puddle just pour the black 5min epoxy mix on some wax paper. ALSO IMPORTANT: LET YOUR NEW PUDDINGS CURE PROPERLY BEFORE REMOVING FROM THE WAX PAPER (ROUGHLY HOURS). hope that helps...cheers

Used paint and epoxy for small ponds and such, this is great!

The Crawling Claw I was debating wether or not I really needed to make a post about these. Pretty straight forward craft. A while ago, someone posted about the dollar tree zombies that were a bit big for 28mm. And someone else (great memory I have) suggested they could be used for crawling claws. So...yeah. Put one on a flight stand for funs.

Love them!
Personally, I'd scrap the bases altogether. I might be tempted to glue some tiny neodym magnets on their undersides because I have many terrain tiles with little metal scraps hidden here and there under the paint, so I could stick a claw on a vertical area, or put it on a magnetized fly stand, or just put it on the ground, or on a PC's base.
Of course you'd need to give them their own little storage container or you'll lose them over time...

Yeah, I didn't like the bases so much either. The idea of magnetizing them is pretty cool. I have a few more zombie hands, too.

I think if the bases were smaller it would be better, otherwise I really like them

Yeah, I have been thinking about switching them out with some half inch washers. Maybe quarter inch.

Nice collection there bobtheskull :-) I did a single one a while back - this is on a small cork piece, like you would put under a chair leg or something. And that's the creeping claw finished: Possibly a contender for the smallest piece of plastic to be considered a full monster at 28mm scale ;-)

Very nice! I love the chunk of bone coming out of the wrist. I wanted that detail, but I had to paint it in.

Very nice! I love the chunk of bone coming out of the wrist. I wanted that detail, but I had to paint it in. This was a leftover hand from some GW stuff, so I actually just attached a few tiny scraps of scraped off plastic with plastic glue. And then the bone paint made it look right :-)

I made a couple using a wire armature, applying Hot Glue... Not something I'm happy with, nor proud to show off. I like this approach. Having seen how easy it is (I hope...), I may need to try this. Thanks, jennifer! Cheers!
