Really nice looking. Ive started repainting and re-basing star wars minis for an upcoming campaign. Like the mageknight, you can get those super cheap! More pics please!

Even in their slightly blurry state, those are some SPLENDIDLY painted pieces. The new bases suit them better than the gaming bases for HeroClix. GREAT WORK!

A Blob figure re-done into an ogre. Inspired by dodobot's half-orc chieftain video. The shield is two buttons, added some hot glue to body suit to texture, bead and paper clip mace.

Touched up the bases on a lot of these, painted over the white lines, filled in the holes. I am going back to pennies for bases on smaller figures; cheap, smaller, heavier. A couple of recent figures -

Wanted to comment on this pic Curufin posted in another thread. It is a bar scene with tiles and accessories available on the True Tiles website for those with 3D print capability. Most of the figures are re-based Heroclix figures (I don't recognize all of them). I think this pic shows what a great deal Heroclix figures can be for a cash strapped DM. Most of these minis are available for much less than a dollar each. Most have had slight conversion by Curufin by adding a mug, pipe, serving tray, but still have their original paint. Some of the figures I recognize are: Druid, Lorelei, Mr. Mxyzptlk, Jericho, and Arwen. There are several videos on You-tube on how to rebase minis. DM Scotty used 1" washers in his video. I particularly like the ones by Fungeon-master Dave (Miniature Mash-up). He uses copper disks frequently. I have pretty much adopted this method. I frequently find these disks on the ground in parking lots and the street. They are only 3/4" so I hot glue them to 1" card stock (cereal box). I usually super glue the mini to the disk, then flock with sand/coffee ground mixture using PVA (white) glue. Need a male fighter - consider: Skar, Ian Nottingham, Heimdall, Fandal, Thorin Oakenshield, Blade; a female fighter - Arwen, Wonder Woman, Elektra; a male wizard - Gandalf, Jason Blood, Mandarin; a halfling - Bilbo, Samwise; bard - Fiddler, Pied Piper. There are not a lot of monsters, but NPCs galore.

I love using the Heroclix figues, I've grabbed them whenever I could get them cheap. Sadly no game stores carry second hand heroclix in my area anymore.
I bought a ton of the Hobbit Heroclix when Target put them on clearance for a dollar a piece and built a nice Orc army from them. Got some nice fighters and a wizard as well. From the Super Hero lines I've been able to get Moonstar with Pegasus, Zartana, Dragonman, Lorelei, Killer Frost, Magma, Gargoyle, and Libra.
I used Lorelei as various town NPCs. Zartana was used as an NPC that owned a brothel. Libra gets a lot of use as enemy cultists, casters, clerics, or sages. Killer Frost was used as water and ice elementals. Magma was used as a fire elemental. Gargoyle and Dragonman are used as demons and devils. Moonstar I used for the Pegasus miniature.

I recently got two lots on shopgoodwill.com. They will keep me busy for a while. I get singles from Cool Stuff Inc. and Troll and Toad. T&T still has Mage Knight figures too. I usually don't repaint them other than a touch up or dry brush.
