First is a bunch of Reaper Bones kobolds. I love how you can paint right on the mini's with no priming whatsoever (as a matter of fact, they discourage it)! The coloration is based on the 5e Monster Manual depiction. Painted with Micheal's "Craftsmart" house-brand acrylic paints, I used: - Olive Green for the capes & vests - Brick Red for the base skin tone - Terra Cotta for the skin highlight tone - Chocolate Brown for the leather bits - Brown for the wooden spear shafts and shields - Graphite for rivets, studs, and anything made of metal - Ivory for the spearhead retainer twine - Silver as a light overcoat on weaponry to give metallic shine - Dark Grey for base's stonework - Grey for base's stonework highlights - Brass for the skullhead belt buckles (because White doesn't stick well) - Black to highlight the nose and horns imgur.com/QMZfOwE

How did you embed the picture into the post? It wouldn't let me when I tried, which is why I've been uploading to IMGUR, then linking here...

You right click the photo. Left click the copy Image address. Click reply here & then click the picture icon (8th from the right). Enter Ctrl V...this will enter the address in the http box Click Insert Image & you are in business. I hope you made sense of that.

All it does is give me a tiny "no image" type of box, even when I put the exact same URL I put in my original post into the "Insert Image" popup...
Why can't I simply upload from my computer or Google Drive?

Some forum do let you load staright from your computer. Reaper does or used to; I haven't been able to use it for a while. Following the directions I gave you, this is the result: ... SO you must be doing something wrong.

I like the reaper bones miniatures too. I have about 50 of them.
I did try painting a couple of them without washing and priming them first. It didn't go well. So after that experience I wash and prime them like any other miniature. I use citadel paints. It might be that their surface don't go well with citadel paints. But what ever works for you ...
I noticed that a couple of the kobolds have bent weapons. So here is a tip: You can straighten or bend the minis a bit. The way you do this is that you stick the mini into some boiling water for 5-10 seconds, and wiggle it around a bit. When you pull it up you can feel how the plastic is really soft. Then you bend the mini a little bit more than you want it to be bent. Then you hold it in that position while holding it under really cold running water for 10-20 seconds. Then it will stay in that position. This way you can straighten spears and swords. I even repositioned the wings of my gargoyles this way. This way two completely identical miniatures can be made to look different.

Your kobolds look lovely (is that right? You know what i mean) You have chosen a very similar colour scheme to mine. Only problem with the Reaper kobolds is the lack of a sling or bow. Guess its conversion time.

wrr377 - To embed images, try these steps:
1- At imgur, hover your cursor over your name (top-right of the page) and select "images" from the dropdown menu.
2- Find the pic you want to embed (your most recent uploads should be at the top, in descending order) and left-click it.
3- Your image should then enlarge in a new pop-up window, with a bunch of URL/code options.
4- Find the one that says "Direct Link" and left-click the "Copy" button.
5- In your post here at DM's Craft, left-click the "Insert Image" button (8th button from the right).
6- In the little window that pops up, delete the http:// (if it's not highlighted in blue), right-click in that box and select "Paste" from the drop-down menu.
7- If you see your imgur link fill the box, click on "Insert Image", and that should be it. If it worked correctly, your image (the actual image, not a link) will show up in the post you're composing.
If those steps don't work for you, then I'm sorry, I have no idea what might be wrong. Perhaps a browser-related issue? (I'm using the latest version of Mozilla Firefox).
