Lo all - I just watched Scotty's Short Tip #27 where he uses Liquitex Flexible Modeling Paste to cover up an old saddle on a fig and model out the beast's fur. Would this be a better option than white acrylic latex caulk for a base cover of foaming water surrounding rising kraken tentacles? Appreciate any thoughts on workability, toughness, drying time, etc. of each if you have used either product before.
Thanks & cheers, Miri

The caulk would probably be better for that specific purpose. Fur details are a bit out of it's normal abilities though, but water tends to work well without a lot of fine detail and with the smoother results you want there.
