What about using the bomb's for molotov cocktails? who says Goblins can't use the PC's tactics, and weapons, against them? The banner carriers make great Shamans/Witchdoctors, for RPG's.
These Goblin figures are from 16-18mm tall, without their bases. Depending upon which version of D&D you are playing, they may be spot-on for size. The 1977 Monster Manual's entry makes these figures about perfect in height, for 25mm tall Humans; for 28mm tall Humans, they may be just a couple of millimeters short, but not bad, IMO.
I have around four sets of these Goblin figures, all painted and based, for use in both RPG's, and BattleSystem/BattleSystem Skirmishes games. Being clothed only in loin cloths, they paint up super-fast, and easy. Apply The Dip, and you have great figures, in very little time, with minimal effort.
These figures are also easy to modify, and use for riders on various mounts. I had the Prince August Fantasy Goblin Wolf Rider Mold years ago. I still have 60 Wolves cast, mounted, painted, and based, sans riders from the same mold (needed 60 Wolves for a Tolkien Battle of Five Armies game, back in the day). The Caesar Goblins carrying spears made perfect Wolf Riders after I cut off their molded bases, and used E6000 Glue to attach them to the wolves' backs. I am also using Schleich Fruit Bat toys as aerial cavalry for the Goblin army.
These figures are hard to beat for price-point. The quality is decent enough, the sculpting is good enough for my purposes, and the molding is great -- very little flash. I had other Goblin figures, but I sold them off years ago. These made an even better army, as they are more closely to scale for what I wanted. To me, they are one of the very best deals available on the market today. Cheers!

I also got a set on these, and I like them a lot.
Must be because all me figurines are 72:1

Major note, the grots thing started with 40K and migrated back...and there are a LOT more than 2 types in the fantasy section...and that's without delving into the hobbit stuff

I picked up this set a few week ago for a game. They are great. The 1/72 line is actually quite robust these days. There are multiple goblin sets, orc sets, half orc (hobgoblin), elves, dwarves, adventurers, undead, were-rates (skraven), zombies, lizard men, and that is not getting into the Arcane Forces stuff and general historic 1/72 scale stuff. Everything you need to run a game. As you do get a lot of stuff, I recommend you split with another DM to lower your cost even more. Plus you can use larger scale stuff as higher level monsters and they will be more threatening as they are larger.
cheapfanatasyminis, paulsbod, and 172multiverse has more info.
Also, support the Patreon, I know I am!

I have a number of Caesar miniature sets, including the undead, orcs, elves, dwarves and four or five different historical armies that work great as NPCs in games. Yeah, they're a little small compared to the modern hulking "heroic" scale, but they do what they need to do, which is provide a way to spark the player's imagination and advance the game session.

Dark Alliance and Light Alliance are also cool in the same scale. They are a bit more detailed as well, which can be good and bad.

Another great video! Those goblins painted up nicely Did you use different colors to represent different monsters?

Great review. Those do look like some good goblins for the money. I would probably add a weapon to a few of the rock-throwers and bomb guys, just to break it up.... though I could definitely see myself ambushing my players with a group of goblins that just throw rocks and run.
For the bomb guys, I remember in the 80's when throwing flasks of oil was all the rage. Might be time for a resurgence.

Back in the 1977 Monster Manual that Gygax wrote for 1st Ed. AD&D, he stated that different tribes of Goblins had different skin colors: orange, red, and other colors. It harkens back to his wargaming roots: painted different colors, it would allow players to differentiate the different tribes at a glance. These are cheap enough that you could easily paint them up as different tribes, which is something I wanted to do with my 144 Goblins, but as they attack in hordes, I decided to paint mine up as one tribe only -- for now... Cheers!

Great review...if I were not dirt broke I would order a set or two.
I wanted to add that while the video and review were on par with other videos you've produced, this one was made better by the fact that the captioning that was active when I viewed it was hilariously bad and off point...

That is excellent news all around then. I was hoping that they were at least as big as the goblins and I always look forward to your videos.

I did buy a set of the Caesar Miniatures Ratmen, about 2 years ago...
Just realised that I used dice last week to represent wererats, when I had the entire box of Caesar miniatures Ratmen assembled and based about 10ft away.
