But a lot of the stuff I am gonna print will indeed have character because it will be hand sculpted in 3D drawing software! Please share it! Your work is amazing! I'd love to see some of it on my table!

Found some really cool looking fantasy warriors on thingiverse. Just simply rescale to 28mm and print -- they are currently scaled at 18mm. The detail looks pretty nice www.thingiverse.com/thing:1296083I could see using the one with the spear as a statue -- scale it up to about 50mm or 60mm...

Instantly recognized that pic. Dutchmogul has a dinstinctive style to his models. Dutchmogul has over 400+ designs, almost all of which are gaming miniatures. Lots of Fantasy and Sci Fi people, monsters, vehicles, and terrain. Seriously, you could spend months printing all of his cool stuff.

Would a moderator mind moving this thread to the new 3D printing sub-forum? Thanks.

Oh hell yes! www.thingiverse.com/thing:1419276I like! Love how they improved the tiles. They should print nicely now due to the texture. i.e. print rings won't be that visible at all due to texture change. I'll have to see how this locking thing works. I might end up using their tiles now The wall texture is much nicer now too! EDIT: I really like that he decided to make the external wall tiles 1/2" thick to be compatible with Hirst Arts. This is awesome because that's what I use.. external Hirst arts walls with my tiles! Great news! Checked the prices on those magnets and they are dirt cheap!

Just ordered 250 5mm ones for $15 shipped on Tmart. If you know a cheaper source please inform me. That is enough for 31 tiles so a good test amount.
Edit: Tinydeal has them a tad cheaper.

I'm not sure, you can look at the base models. But as there is less material overall, maybe fewer magnets will work just as well, esp for floor pieces if they are merely a thin plate and spacious base.

thought this would be good for some DND fertility terrain. www.thingiverse.com/thing:743448you could put an actual egg in it.. say it's a dragon egg or something lol. or maybe use part of it or warp it for use with an LED tea light?
