Thanks, sgtslag. I am not as fast as I used to be, but I am tenacious. I am happy you are enjoying the stuff.

Yesterday I added a couple of smokestacks:

AND another clockwork door mechanism:

The place is starting to look more complete. Just a couple of more doors to do & more details:

I had an idea for adding a fourth building & a dock to the isle, It would need a larger base:

Unfortunately the base warped. Not wanting to waste the building, I thought a second isle would was just the thing. With all that extra room, a fifth building would work out splendidly:

Now I think a dock & maybe a little lighthouse would look nice. I think I am coming up to speed...& losing my mind such as it is.

I can relate. I get derailed easily these days also.

The new isle got cobble stoned, covered with sand where appropriate, painted black, & dry brushed white. The window & doors started getting framed & cut out:

It’s looking really good. I think I might try building some buildings in a similar style. I need to continue working on my village but I need to add in more asymmetrical design, add in not just the ‘shroom forms, but a bigger variety of buildings… I need to make some sea shell inspired buildings and more. The buildings I am I thinking needs to reflect a wide range of ethnic cultures found in the Kingdom of the Island Baylor.

Sea Elves living inland… Sea Shell inspired homes
Dwarves ruling ethnic group… carved rocky look?
Gnomes… mushroom homes
Humans… medieval style homes
Halflings… Earth homes

Anyway I need to get busy and seriously build the town

Not exactly earth shaking progress, but I added a lower entrance, dock, & a couple of windows to Isle #2:
