Alan, not sure I mentioned this before... do you know the sculptress Stephanie Kilgast?

She works with polymer clay, and has a focus on strange vegetation, including various fungoid growths. She's the reason I started buying Fimo clay and a mini oven to bake the stuff. It's been waiting patiently in a box since I am in the process of moving three rooms in the house around, including my craft room, so there's no time for crafting right now, but I fully intend to work on my* sculpting skills when this is done. We will do various mushroomy variants, and I am so happy that you once sent me a box with some of your mushrooms - they will definitely influence the outcome.

* when I say 'my', I do mean 'our' - my oldest son was totally excited after watching her sculpting, so he can't wait to get into this as well. Good times.

If someone tells you that you have enough craft suplies and you don't need anymore, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

I had one Mushroom cap started & then I saw a Mushroom creation on Pinterest that I had to try. SO I now have two more Mushrooms that will fill out The Box:

Despite a day trip to distant Fredricksburg for brunch, I managed to get The Mushroom Box Folks based & ready for final detailing. They & the rest of the stuff on the worktable will be getting some attention this weekend.

How much actually gets done is anyone's guess.

I got the push to do up the Flying Terror Fish (Reaper & G.W.) from a post by Hobgoblin on L.A.F.:

I took photos of the Fish Fellows on the Grayscale Cavern Stage before the pis above, In most of the photos the wing are invisible, blending in with the Cavern walls:

These are the exceptions...c'est la vie, eh?.
