I hope this doesn't go against the forum rules but I have found a really nice bargain at miniaturemarket.com that I'd like to share. www.miniaturemarket.com/table-top-miniatures/arcane-legions.htmlAs far as I understand, these miniatures are about 25mm in scale. And they come with a unique style that will let them stand out among other miniatures. (Lots of unusual monsters too). At this price it would also not hurt to cut them apart and use them for insane crafting projects. The booster packs are pre-painted and at 12 USD for a brick with about 40 minis really a bargain. Sadly I don't live in the US, because (?) so the shipping costs would kill me. Cheers, Patrick P.S. If somebody has any idea how I get around 100+ USD shipping costs, send me a message.

Some thoughts... I can't say anything about the quality of these miniatures or the paint job. I guess the best you can hope for are Mage Knight like miniatures. The miniatures seem to be made from soft plastic. If anyone knows more, it would be nice to learn more about them. More thoughts... Does anyone have first-hand experience with miniaturemarket.com? This just sounds to good to be true. Still not finished... I just did the math for the Arcane Legions Complete Collection (Clearance) for 99 USD: www.miniaturemarket.com/wls-all.htmlCurrent Price, Content, Article 15,00 USD, 120+ unpained miniatures 1x Arcane Legions Two-Player Starter (WLS000) 12.00 USD, 60+ painted miniatures - 1x Arcane Legions Egyptian Booster Brick (8) (WLS003) 08,00 USD, 15 unpainted miniatures - 1x Arcane Legions Egyptian Cavalry Army Pack (WLS012) 08,00 USD, 40 unpainted miniatures - 1x Arcane Legions Egyptian Infantry Army Pack (WLS009) 12,00 USD, 60+ 1x Arcane Legions Roman Booster Brick (8) (WLS007) 08,00 USD, 15 unpainted miniatures - 1x Arcane Legions Roman Cavalry Army Pack (WLS014) 08,00 USD, 40 unpainted miniatures - 1x Arcane Legions Roman Infantry Army Pack (WLS011) 12,00 USD, 60+ 1x Arcane Legions Han Booster Brick (8) (WLS005) 08,00 USD, 40 unpainted miniatures - 1x Arcane Legions Han Cavalry Army Pack (WLS013) 08,00 USD, 15 unpainted miniatures - 1x Arcane Legions Han Infantry Army Pack (WLS010) 05,00 USD, 2 siegen engines - 1x Arcane Legions Siege Engines of Rome (2 Premium Units) (WLS022) 15,00 USD, 2 chinese dragons - 1x Arcane Legions Dragons of the Far East (2 Premium Units) (WLS018) Total Price: about 137,00 USD at today's bargain price for just 99 USD plus shipping. I got a few boxes of the Asian-themed Infantry and one of the Cavalry a while back. They are definitely smaller than 28mm, but I will be using mine to represent halflings... so it works. I haven't removed them from the sprue yet, so I can't say how easy putting the parts together will be yet. It should be noted that these DO NOT come with individual bases and have a "peg" on the bottom that is meant to fit into a unit base. The sculpts do look good, however.
I likewise have ordered from Miniatures Market quite a bit and have had little to no issues with them in the past. Their "Rewards" program kind of annoys me, given that it is only a 1 percent rate... but it's still better than most sites offer. My largest complaint with them, however, is that they don't update the count on their stock quickly enough. Several times I have placed an order, paid for everything, only to then receive an email that one of my items is sold out and that they issued me a refund for it.

They are closer to 1/72 scale, than 28mm. They look at home in 15mm dungeons.

Howdy,
I got a bunch of these, all the prepaints and a bunch of unpainteds... I have only painted up some romans and egyptian undead infantry.
I like 'em, Kev!

This is only true for North America. To Europe it will cost at least 40 USD and after picking some of the bricks I had to pay about 150 USD for shipping. It broke my heart, but at this point I decided to let empty my shopping basket. At this price I can wait until european vendors follow the trend.

Howdy, Dude! What set were those Foo Dogs in?!?! They are part of the "Han" forces, of course. I consolidated all my arcane legions minis, so I am not sure which exact set. Kev!

Thank you, awesome job! Curse you, now the shipping costs hurt so much more! Somebody wrote they are made from "soft" plastic. How do they feel to the touch? Cheap or fragile?

Howdy, How do they feel to the touch? Cheap or fragile? The unpainted ones feel like model plastic. Not fragile. The prepaints a bit softer but not like bones. A few could use the hot water treatment to fix the "lean". And as you can see some of the prepaints could use touching up, a wash, or complete re-do. Kev!

They do look awesome, but shipping is just as expensive as the set...

Foo Dogs? The Lion looking thing? That's supposed to be a DOG!? Part dog, part lion... if I recall the mythology correctly. They are believed to be guardians, which is why they are used as statues outside of buildings so much.
