but new crafter!!!!!
I started in D&D back in High School when the books were paperback! I'm 54 now and sadly live in an intellectual wasteland with no players near. So I am now a solo DM\player. Not as much fun but I get by.
I stumbled across DMG's videos and then followed here and am loving the craft. Already started the tiles and am beginning to think about a Solo Gamers channel.
Thanks for the inspiration and the coming help.

Just a thought, perhaps you could find a group of players online. Google hangouts or skype can be used to play/converse.
But more importantly, welcome!

Welcome I think there are people who play online, I see ads for the digital map maker and game hosting programs. Also keep that head up, unless your literally in nowhere with no other signs of human life for miles, there is still hope. Especially if you have a bunch of cook props, if you build it they will come.

If that middle of nowhere is in Europe I might be interested in an online game.

I live in the SW corner of Missouri. Smack in the middle of the Ozarks, Redneck Heaven! These people think that good beer is Bud Light!!!!!!!
I can't even get a game of Chess that doesn't include the words, "King me!"

Tried the online thing and was not impressed. I like the face to face interaction, reading the eyes, so to speak.

Thanks for the welcome everyone.
Kev, not much in pics as of yet, just getting started on my tiles, but I'll post when I get home what I have finishd. Working over some unwanted Clix figures to build up my mini's. I've been in and out of Gaming so many times, that the last time I just got rid of everything, but I discovered TwoHour Wargames and their built in solo rules and I've been loving this all over again.

Just a bit... closest place I can think of with any gamers near you would be Springfield... used to live there for a bit.

Yeah, I've played there a time or two, but the drive is too long at night, when almost all want to play, and the ones I've sat in with ended up being X-mas DM's. You know, 50,000 Electrum and a +5 sword for defeating 4 kobalds. Not my cup o' tea.

Always the eyes. Here's what I have so far. WW2 is taking up a lot of my time lately. It'll do for now, but I'm doing a whole new set for a planned campaign soon. No laughing.

Your tiles look great. I'd love to see a YouTube channel dedicated to solo gaming. I have two game groups, but sometimes I want to play a game that no one else likes. There's a place for solo gaming for everyone.

Very good lines on those pieces. You are way cleaner than I am when making your tiles. Good job. And here's hoping that you find a group to play with.

Thanks guys. Far to kind. Michka, the hard part about solo play is that not all rule sets lend themselves to good solo play. I use two hour wargames, they were made for solo, but can also work well in coop and head to head.
