You can purchase non slip shelf liner from dollar tree and its fantastic. It comes in Tan (seen above), White, Off White, and my personal Favorite Black (Doesn't show dirt as much). I use it in two ways, As a mat with my tiles sitting on top of it which works and still allows for adjustment while providing a decent amount of friction, or attaching the mats to the bottom of the tiles individually or you could do both and as long as your not playing with Andre the giant, they might as well be glued to the table. It just depends on how secure you need your tiles to be. I prefer this method to weighing down my tiles because it can easily and uniformly be applied to any sized/shaped tile If you would like photos or anything else let me know

I place my tiles on a piece of felt blanket fabric I got from hobby lobby. They don't move, and are just cardboard on the bottom.
