Does anyone out there know of a glue gun that doesnt make too much of a mess? I realize that the "spiderweb" thingy is unavoidable but are there some guns that dont drip all over the place? I seem to be wasting so much glue!

They drip, I just put something under it to catch the mess. I also keep a piece of junk cardboard near by to wipe the tip of the nozzle clean.

I've got about a dozen glue guns that have ranged in price and seeming quality. They all drip, but some more than others.

The Hi-temp setting/guns, drip more than the Lo-temp settings/guns do. But yes, they all drip. Sorry.

I lay the glue gun sideways on a piece of cardboard…. that stopped the dripping… but not the running and strings when I use it. Attachment Deleted

After painting some mini's this weekend, I am seriously thinking of replacing my metal, wire, paint spindle from Michael's -- it is nice, but it is nowhere near as convenient to use, as what you have shown: I have to insert the bottles, cap end first; I have to spin the spindle, to access all of the paints, which means it needs plenty of table space to spin freely; it is more difficult to see the paints, except for the milky bottoms, which may be devoid of paint/color, after the bottle nears empty. It just is not as nice as I thought it would be -- live and learn. Thanks for sharing. Cheers!

Take a small dab of paint and put it on the botton of the paint container. That way, even if you have to place the paint in your tray cap first, you have no issues seeing the color of the paint. Useful tip you learn when you work with paints alot...

I put a splotch on the caps - but I don't generally buy Reaper paints since they switched to a dropper bottle, but rather Citadel or whatever it is called this week. I like having the ability to dip right into the bottle (yes, I am one of THOSE painters).
I also bought a few packs of stainless steel nuts and dropped one into each container to facilitate mixing when I shake (like the skulls in Reaper MSP bottles, except much more mass to them).
