imgur.com/a/tQp9UWanna start by saying im really bad at the technology side of this.....new to forums and failing at posting pics. All the picture went into the album in the wrong order, but I'll live. First pic is the idea I came up with for gridless flight stands each of those blocks is roughly a half inch tall so they count as 5ft increments. Also in the pic is my measurment sting/stick, I think it was DMG that I got the idea from. The rest, in the wrong order, is my ruined outdoor temple, a still functioning outdoor temple, and my swamp terrain. All fully moduler and tons of ways to set up. The last picture is the reason I call this a magic trick, everything you see fits in those three boxes. Got 2 other boxes for all dungeon and cave terrain. Hope you like And for my next trick im working on fully moduler mountain and hill terrain, made possible by tauster and his molding making geniusness, DM Scotty for his general majesty, and everyones constant contagious modivation.

Huzzah, the acceptance of peers, what more could one ask for? Also I forgot to thank whoever runs the 18charlie.com , there blog is jammed full of fly ideas. Also I'll answer and question on how stuff was made. Im really bad about taking pics while in the process of crafting, tend to go into a kinda trance.

That's a lot of great works there, I was curious tho, does your gear get knocked around the table much? I used to do complete modular builds also, but , I found my gamers kept knocking everything over during game play, used to drive me nuts, so instead of banning the use of alcohol during games I had to make my gear more "fixed" per say lol

The multi stacked temple however........It probably wouldn't survive any real encounter, mostly just set up it up to so variety, usually the set up would be single level temple thats more spread out. If iIwas marching them to the top of a tall tower I'd seperate it level by level. side note, the chairs are comfy, yet somewhat a eyesore

What did you use for the ground cloth, grass, whatever? They look really great -- color and texture are very good for evoking a grassy, swampy area. Inquiring minds want to know... Cheers!

The grass is another idea I had, there old brown towels I got from thrift stores for really cheap. I cut them some into the small patchs for the swamp, the rest larger rectangles for general land. I then made the same glue wash mix I'd use for paper mache, dunked them in that and layed them out to dry on nonstick cookie sheets. I fluffed the threads to insure they dry how i wanted them too, after which a base coat of black spray paint. Followed by brown in the bare spots, the different greens to finish.
