I love that carbonite project. How can you have a Star Wars game session without that somewhere?
That does give me an idea for a dungeon room. A closed off portal with some being coming halfway out of it before it was shut down.

Definitely above table quality no doubt...I love the way you did the wizards and the samurai dude looks great
btw, I think they would look better photographed on your terrain... just sayin' I agree I can't believe I never even looked in this part of the forum. DOH! I would say a few notches above tabletop.

The beast, as a custom, is as good as anything I've seen on reapers website. The tinfoil skin is something I never would have thought of. Amazing work, just amazing!

After nearly 8 months, I finally found my missing box of HeroClix. I have been re-basing and converting like crazy! Here are some new Tavern Folk converts... The "Why did I take my family's heirloom sword on an adventure" guy: The "I'm not going to make crafting of any kind easy for you" cat: I have also been working on upping my collection of minis for my Star Wars game. Sooooo many HeroClix will work as aliens and mercs/bounty hunters, and droids with little to know conversions and very little paint...if any. I still have about 40 to go, but here is the first batch:

I just discovered re-purposed HeroClix and Mage Knight figures a couple years ago, and love the premise. I got 100 HeroClix from CoolStuffInc two years ago for $14.99. I was very happy with what I got. They still have the same special. I got very few repeats and only a couple broken (missing arm). I did not use a lot of the SciFi and generic figs. I am still rebasing and adapting them. I highly recommend a few pieces, i.e. Grymm, Solomon Grundy, Skaar, Valkyrie, Black Briar Thorn, Dr. Alchemy, Vermin, Swordsman, Fabian Cortez, and Prism as a few examples. I recommend every DM get the Thorin Oakenshield fig. It is more like a human fighter than a dwarf. link - www.coolstuffinc.com/page/1808

I think I have all of those. I already put a standard shield on the Thorin too. I picked most of these up from Troll and Toad. I dont think I paid more than 50 cents for any of them. A fantastically economic solution for almost any gaming mini need.

More tavern goer conversions: Puppet Master to Bladesmith: Kurse to Dark Jedi (The lightsabers are the engine thrust off of a Fixer/Techno HeroClix):
