And yeah, it's a bit short notice, but I'm not too concerned about paint jobs. Just a thought: Try a Sin City - like color scheme*, i.e. black paint paint, grey drybrushing, perhaps a few white highlights (again, basically just drybrushing) - and then one or two details in a very bold color. I tried that recently and fell in love with that method, so I'll definitely do that more often in the future. * see here and here for what I mean I see what you mean, but I want this to hit home more. It's breast (hairy..), horrid body etc. should be as realistic as any paint job I'd have time for. It should really revolt them. A Sin City-esque sort of thing wouldn't be effective enough, I think. Cool pics of your stuff, thought. Really worked on them!

In my continuing thread of building/making things but not painting them I started work on a miniature built upon a selfmade armature earlier this week. Used wire, then applied Milliput, then green stuff. Turned out pretty dang huge, so I think he'll be a half-giant/half-goliath.

So today I've been home from work due to a butt that seems to be running it's own life. Got some time to paint some stuff, though. First up is a monk mini from the older DnD sets. I added some more clothes and a pouch with green stuff. He was far too lightly dressed to be adventuring in the Silver Marches. My highly unprofessional lightning working with my Samsung tablet has given him a cool lime green-ish cloak. It's more yellow than this. Years ago, I played Warhammer Fantasy very briefly. Already then I loved minis, so I bought this wood elf. Painted him a little bit, but stopped when I found out I sucked bad at painting. Finished him today. About 13 years later... I also did some warthogs I had from an orc boss and an orc chariot. NEVER going to play Warhammer again, so I figured these would work well in that lycanthrope encounter my players might fall into later. Leader of the lycanthropes? This guy. This is a model from that russian company I bet a lot of you bought from. The werewolf and minotaur minis I bought were 54mm, but I feel they work excellently. Here's the whole party with Mr. Wolf.

Thanks for sharing this work here - I am one of those hold-outs who doesn't do Facebook at all, so I really appreciate those who continue to post here.
I see lots of nice detail =)

Some work in progress. Tried my hand at some wet blending on the archer's cape. Not too happy, but it'll do.
