It looks a lot like a polearm...not sure about actual length, but I might need to look for some myself for the weapons racks I wanted for the armory I've been contemplating for a while for Ronin

You are correct, I should have said pole-arm, not spear. Actual length once you cut off the bristles is 2".

My wife bought them at the Christmas Tree store as a stocking stuffer. I believe that you can also buy them at Walmart, CVS, Walgreen etc.. The pack I have is 120 count, purchased for about 2 dollars or so. I painted up one real quick and took a picture with a figure: www.flickr.com/photos/133877467@N02/19597276451/in/dateposted-public/I thought about cutting down the "blade" point, I believe it would make a decent looking spear head or even a better sword with just a bit of an effort.

They can be used for a lot more things than I originally thought. I like how easy they are to paint, I made six in just a couple of minutes.
