i bought a bunch of balsa while ago, but it is so much more fragile then i expected it to be.
i would like some info on using balsa in projects that are sturdy enough for gaming n stuff.

I use balsa wood all the time....a good sharp blade is a must, and a coating of glue with help with the strength of it.

I also used balsa wood a lot early on. It carves up very easy and you can texture it with a rock. It is stronger than it appears, as long as you aren't spanning gaps with it that will support weight (like a bridge) you should be fine. I built this with balsa wood supports.

a few light coats of epoxy rein or fiberglass resin on balsa wood and you can basically have a samsquanch sit on itwithout any damage
