So lots of times I find sales places, and I want to post them here, but I feel bad making a new thread for an event that usually is over in three or four days. I hereby propose that we have one continuously running thread that we can all post sales that we find at the big box stores lots of us have around (Hobby Lobby, Michaels, etc.), or websites that lots of us frequent, like Miniature Market or Hirst Arts. Maybe we could even get this thread stickied to make it easy to find? And in that vein, Michaels has 50% off most of their fake plants this week, and I picked up a couple of arrays for terrain-making for three bucks each. I ALMOST bought one of the square-foot ones that are normally 20 bucks, but I really can't justify having that many plants (yet). These little six inch guys are just about perfect.

Good idea, I'm actually in need of some fake plants right now. Thanks for the heads up.

JoAnn Fabrics has several of their Toobs on clearance, including the Bugs Toob and Mega Toobs. I picked up the Dragons Toob 1 for four bucks! Not the Trees one, though.

I plugged these guy on the cheap mini thread American Science and Surplus. They usually have dentist tools/picks in stock. I can loose myself looking around their page for an hour or two. Might not be Craft specific but there enough stuff on there to make it worth looking around. Everything from rubber chickens to robot parts. I thin someone turned me on to the place when I was looking for some drip bottles. Sort of like an Ollie's. The stock they have changes weekly.

the auction ends in about 4 hrs, but for Dreamblade lovers in Germany or Europe, this would be a great deal: 262 minis for 40 euro plus shipping. www.ebay.de/itm/131536218784should nobody bid, most sellers put the auction online again. so you might get a second chance...

Damn that is an awesome set. It would even be worth it to pay shipping to wherever you might be. Sweet sweet sweet!

If anyone wants to pick up a cheap starter set of Star Wars Command, TRU has the 51 fig sets (50 soldiers +1 Vader) for $10 and the 22 fig Rebels set (an assortment of characters and vehicles including some force users) for $8. $18 gets you a nice starter set. Free shipping for orders over $50 or $3 shipping if you get them from KBToys on ebay (same prices).

I ventured out to the local walmart today and found a few things that might interest you guys. First up is a pirate ship, it might be a bit big and simplistic for 28mm though Next is a castle, it has no back but I came so close to buying it lol And finally I found these animals, they had dinosaurs as well. The scale is about right for most stuff but the rabbits are massive lol! I bought a pack of the farm animals (wolves are included and I needed those)

Howdy, Can you post a pic of any oxen next to a mini? Looking for some, Kev! Here are some of the animals next to a 28mm GW human. The Cow is a bit small and the scale of the animals is terrible inconsistent. I idn't even put the pig in the picture because they are huge lol! But here is what I was after, not wolves but big dogs. I got 8, which made the purchase worth it lol

i find the size pretty great for 28mm. even the cow is the right size. cows aren't all bigger then us you know. the roosters though... yeah if the pig lis like them, then yeah they are oversized. but giant pigs and roosters in fantasy games... me likes !

Howdy,
I picked up a set of these on my way home from mountain biking this morning. The cows all have udders, which I don't care for, but they scale well as a diminutive highlands breed maybe? I need them to pull the carts I made. The goats are large, but usable in a fantasy setting. I will use them with the carts as well...draft goats! The mules are good too. The horses are small and not much detail, they remind me of chess pieces. The fowl and rabbits are giant! Big dogs too. worth $5.
For me anyway...
Thanks for the heads up man, Kev!

I played a dwarfen hexblade on a wargoat once. (which later became it's familiar) Basicly a sure footed pony sized goat with barding.
