Okay, so I've been looking around a lot, hoping to find printable pawns/tokens/markers/whatever you would call them for 2D dungeon accoutrements, furniture, what-have-you. I am thinking of the pit trap and secret door tiles from HeroQuest, something along those lines. A thousand different people have made monster and PC pawns, but ignoring stuff made for virtual tabletops, I have only found one guy that has made this kind of thing, and I am not real fond of his style. Does anyone have any recommendations or suggestions? _________________________________________ Insert custom signature here or you'll look like a tool.

its as easy as taking pictures on the net and printing them on cardstocks. and if you want bigger cardstock you could say glue together two and just then glue the image on it.
tokens quite easy to do once you get your design done.

Are those tiles from the old GW / Citadel dungeon tile set? I always liked those tiles. Wish they made more. I used to draw on gridded blank sheets of paper for my games. But that was before I learned the joy of 2.5D crafting. Now I can't turn back.

For a while, Dungeon Magazine was printing sheets of token and putting them in with the magazine. I remember that the majority were monster tokens, but there were campfire, tent and traps tokens for sure. I'll see what I have. There might be some dungeon accessories too.

Now that you mention it I think alot of the older DnD box sets had alot of these things inside them too. I will also see what I have since I do not use them anymore

Well, I looked through my rpg stuff and I cant find a single sheet of tokens. I have no idea what I did with them. I did however find this map: It is double sided and has beds, shelves, chests, rugs, tables and chairs, a bar, and a bunch of other things. If you want it, I'll ship it out to you. You could cut out the pieces and scan and print. Otherwise, there are always the Game Mastery map packs (if you don't mind spending $12+) or the DunDJinni map creation software. At least at one point there was a trial version that had tables, chairs, and fireplaces. Dungeon Magazine that came out during the 3/3.5 period started doing cartography maps that often featured all of the rooms contents. You could probably scan and enlarge those items.

Hmm. Does that map have any publication data on it? Might be able to find a digital copy easier than having to ship it. . .

Just says Wizards of the Coast copyright 2000. But the map is titled Sleeping Dragon Inn.

Actually, I think that might be an actual map, and not a PDF. Weird!

You mean the D&D games, like Castle Ravenloft and Legend of Drizz't? Ravenloft doesn't have any that are really usable except for the coffins that say COFFIN in big white font across the middle, and LoD only has treasure chests and a few walls, if I recall correctly. I haven't yet picked up Wrath of Ashardalon, so that may have more.
I am actually tossing around the idea of a small kickstarter to have some printed, if I can get some of my artsy friends to contribute the art - I have another friend that works for a printing company, and I asked him tonight to look at pricing for a small run. Seems like the kind of thing that people might be interested in, a hundred or so nice cardboard or plastic tokens for 25 bucks, or a five dollar pdf so you can print your own.
Or maybe I am just crazy, if there was any real interest you'd think someone would have done it by now.

Yeah, those are HQ tokens in the first pic, it's what made me start looking, because I use them all the time. There aren't that many in the game, just the walls, rock falls, pits, and secret doors. Everything else is actual minis.

which is why most people told you to do them yourself. there are tones of pictures of furniture tokens ont he net thanks to online play which requires them. so all you have to do is buy the token cardstock which does sell, but you need a printer that do use them.

Came across this link in my searches, it's apparently the tokens (monsters and PCs) that are used on D&D Encounters games? They look like they'd mount to bases pretty easily. dungeonsmaster.com/2013/02/tokens/

Well characters and monsters aren'T a problem per say, so much of them... i think its the furnitures hes wanting to have token wise. and that i think cannot be found. most stuff is added directly into the tile instead.
