This is just double ply cardboard, hot glued together after cutting holes in it. Simple and effective.

Just thought about adding bamboo skewers to the front edge of each of those shelves, maybe underneath too, might add to the longevity of the unit, and it would just take a few minutes to do

just thought of this too,
I think you could take a compass(drafting kind), and an xacto type knife and twist tie them together, so the blade cuts as you rotate the compass, gunna try it later c what kinda holes I make
