Hello everyone from Vermont, land of snow, rocks, and... apparently more snow?
I'm a gamer who was a fan of D&D since 2nd ed., reveled in 3 and 3.5 until I lost my gaming group, and now back in 5 thanks to my fiance. I've got some experience with WoD stuff, and some GURPS as well.
I've been a huge geek when it comes to the old Chainmail WotC game, and am still looking for some missing from my collection, but ever since then, I have been enraptured with the possibility of making my own terrain for games. I'm a poor GM, but my fiance rocks it hard core in our weekly games. I've been on hiatus from anything really creative since going back to school and getting my RN and now BSN. Thanks to finding DM Scotty's video's, I've had my creative fires rekindled. My current projects are mostly based on his videos, and hope to pull off a non-gaming project in the future that I have been brainstorming for a while: a Transformers Base, at scale with current figures.
As a nurse, I end up with some STRANGE bits and doodads from work. Everything from vial tops (that would make excellent dungeon wall or pile-of-loot shields, to IV caps (that would make some sort of nozzle, I suppose). So I hope to come up with some awesome stuff to share with everyone.
Happy crafting everybody!

welcome aboard. if you have access to syringes, they make excellent applicators for modelling paste and other liquids.

Welcome on board! (...oh wait, somebody said that already. Whatever...) :-) Be warned: this hobby of ours is quite addictive. Take care you'll never again run out of cardboard, cardstock, hotglue, whiteglue, silicone, corn starch, acrylic colors, bandaid (the occasional blood sacrifices to the craft...), xcato blades, ... [happy voice fades out slowly]

Welcome! What part of Vermont?, I'm in Westford, Glad to see a fellow Vermonter on board Happy Crafting My Friend. We just moved to Windsor, or rather I did. I moved in with my fiancé and his old house. Lots of old tools and equipment, so I can't wait to get some serious crafting in! is Westford far? I've spent a good portion of my life in New Hampshire, so this is a whole new geography I have to learn.
