Playing catch up is hard work. The descriptions of the 29 pictures at s172.photobucket.com/user/arthurpwrs4/library/?sort=3&page=1 are as follows from top left to bottom right. 1-3 Pupa both opened and closed; 4-6 the wizard's den, the bottles and jars on the shelf are just glass beads glued together; 7-9 my giant spider made out of wet TP, toothpicks, hot glue and paint; 10-15 dungeon tile with hinged wooden door and stone arch (I used pin barrel hinges made from toothpick pionts and the ends of popsickles.); 16 and 17 a succubus mini by Reaper I painted; 18 is the hall of lost souls tile; 19-21 is my airship dock complete with rooms and furnishings; 22-29 is the HMS Peanut Ann. I hope you all find these as much fun to view as I had making them. |

I crafted the airship about 2 years ago. The sails were made using cut cardboard tubes with a linen glued to each side. The rigging was fun to work out. I covered the dirigible in quarters and the fabric was cut on the bias. The ship was suspended from the dirigible using clockchain. It was difficult to get the ship to hang from it level. I'm neither an engineer nor a shipwright. I went sailing a few times which inspired this airship in an attempt to relay what I felt at the time.

I'm doing a sci-fi campaign, and I'm missing some of the fantasy aspects in traditional campaigns. I think I might have to fit this in. Final Fantasy Space Opera style!

The spiders are some quality sculpting my friend, I am very impressed with the exacting proportions and life like posing! Also, the pods, the airship, the terrain... very cool!
