What is this one supposed to be? A holding tank looks good with lots of rust. If it's a radar station you'd think they'd give it a paint job every so often, or coat it with rust resistant paint. If it's a weather station, it's probably not that well maintained.
What the hell am I saying? Give it as much rust as you can. Everything looks better with rust.

Its supposed to be a radio tower. Some fallout info if people are unsure of the storyline.
Its the year 2277 so all the building that survived the great war have been around for at least 200 years. The great war happened in 2070 I believe. So rust it is then.

I have a buddy who does post apoc terrain and his back story is similar to yours. Yet he insists on all his ruins to be overgrown. His thing is after one hundred years nature would have pretty much taken over. While I can see his point all the overgrowth tends to really limit all the grungy goodness underneath! Yours is much better from both an artistic viewpoint and I think from a playability standpoint.
