HA! what a great idea! great use of the cardboard. Two questions....1) will you be making more pieces for this set? and what did you use for the drainage spout? if you do make more please share. Thanks.

Thanks guys! Yes there will be more pieces to the set. I simply used the bendy part on a straw for the drain pipe. I plan to fill it with a little hot glue and trash bits. These are just some trial pieces. I like having access to the insides of the buildings. Things may change but I think it will stay similar to these set ups.

This guys city just looked so awesome but I wanted more access then what it looks like he has available. I want people to be able to play at different sections on the city and be able to run into an abandoned house and run up a set of stairs bust out a window and run on the roof.

When I saw the WIP pictures in your 1st positng I thought 'looks cool, but it's Modern...' I don't play Modern games and thus I'm not interested in that kind of terrain, so I moved on. But when I saw your last pic with the stuff painted up... WOW! I'll have some sessions in a medieval fantasy slum in the near to mid-future and I had always thought I'll have to play that theatre of the mind style, as I had no idea how to make a shantytown. I'll have to leave some stuff out (pipework, corrugated sheets, barrels), and I'll have to find a way to make it as modular as possible (perhaps making shanties in different sizes so I can stack at least two in each other, cutting storage space in half), but that's only minor details now. You got me totally infected!

I just hope my stuff comes out half as good as his painted up. Its been too cold to do any airbrushing outside so I haven't been able to paint at all unless its dry brushing. So I'm going to craft a few sections of the city then just paint it all at once. I'll be using darker colors with reds/greens/blues for the sheet metal.

I'm going to borrow some of his ideas he used here on making some houses. It looks really great in the end for those of you who like Japanese styled houses. How to make a Japanese styled house.
