looks like it is happy ! either of finally having someone to talk to, either because it smoked too much or is it because its thinking of its next meal. whatever the case, its one happy beholder !
looks real nice.

That is a really nice sculpt of a beholder. I don't miss the other eye stalks, it's an impressive obstacle for the PCs to overcome as it is.

That is badass! kinda of gives me an aquatic sort of feeling with the way it looks. Would be terrifying to run into in the water!

Dude that is awesome! I think the only way it can be improved is to have smaller versions that surround it on separate stands.

Not only does it look good, you don't have to worry about the eye-stalks breaking off (had that happen to a friend of mine that made one in a ceramic's class)

Not sure how I missed this... Fantastic work! I think you could make a two-part mold of it, and mass produce them for sale... Very nice take on the classic monster. I agree: the eye stalks are cool, but modeling them is a pain. I made one out of Sculpey, a decade ago, with multiple eye stalks -- they did not last very long before they broke off...
You know, it might be a hoot to have a Craft War competition on making Beholders. I started some a few years ago, but I've never finished them. Mine are more comical, than serious. I'd enter them just to, hopefully, make someone smile, or laugh. Cheers!
