I decided to make a gift for my Mother-In-Law. She collects Frogs, and she has an interest in Geneology. So the obvious thing to sculpt a Frog looking at a Family Tree. Right? Well, that's what I did at least. Here it is... Here's a shot of the sculpt before I painted it. The body was sculpted out of Super Sculpey. I used Green Stuff to make the eye lids and repair a few holes. The base was made from a 65mm square of Foam Core, with Coffee Stir Sticks glued to the top. The Family Tree is a piece of Plasticard curled back on itself a few dozen times. It was sprayed with Testors Earth Brown, painted in tans and browns. Then the lines and names were drawn on it with a Micron pen. Let me know what you think.

Nice! I've never gotten the hang of Sculpey, it never does what I want it to heh. This is a really nice piece, gift shop worthy. Exalt, for the sculpt, and for taking craft time for the mother in law. . Hope it scores you some points!

wow, too great ! good thought, good gift !
my only concern is the butt of the creature. i think both lines makes the back leg seems not part of the frog. i think you shouldn't have made these lines. keep that part of the legs part of the creatures skin.

Really cool. Gifts you have made yourself are always 10 times better than anything store bought imo.

Way cool, and means a lot more than something you could could have bought for her.
