They're really easy. Just frame it up and use some thin card stock for the shingles.

I think the three of them took about two hours, but part of that was because I was working out the structure and how much detail I wanted to incorporate. If I were to make more I think I could probably put one together in a half an hour if I had all the supplies on hand.

I've begun making roof tiles yesterday, the longest part was making the shingles the way i wanted them, but it took me about an hour to put together one of the two i need. Surely gonna put the other one together and base paint them both black today. Next, i'll just need to paint them!

Yeah, the shingles are the things that take the longest, but the overall effect is really worth it. Post them up when you're done, I'd love to see them! In other news, the Jagtooth the Beholder is painted and ready to terrorfy my players tomorrow!

I just love this thread. So many well executed projects to be found here. I really dug the rooftops, and the Beholder came out quite nicely.

Hee, thanks! Most of the beholder figures I've found just didn't have the scale I wanted so I decided it was time to wad up some tinfoil and get some clay. Now that I've made the first one, I may try a beholder 2.0 and try to get some more detail in the eye stalks.
