Turned out alright. The blue nose may be a little much. Edit: Hard to tell but his eyes are his best feature.. And he likes long walks through the swamp.

Lauren almost finished painting up her warlock last night. I decided to post a pic of it, I believe she just needs to touch up a few spots and then it will be done.

Thanks @rouseau for the input! This one does have the psi regulator next to what I believe is the air dryer. The book it came with was pretty useless, it did say to run it at around 25-30 psi I think. I was reading what others wee saying on different threads and thought I would need some ventilation but I guess I'm mostly going to base coat with it until I figure everything out so I probably won't need it right away.

Christmas will be a longer session for the group, 4-5 hours. They will be heading into the crypt to clear out the rising dead. The church is offering 1000 gold to clear out the crypt and to find and stop whatever is causing this. The players did some digging around town and discovered they burned a witch who was practicing dark magic a few days ago(sacrificing people). Before she died she cast a curse over the towns crypt which suddenly caused the dead to rise from their tombs/graves. The towns guard has sealed the dead into the crypt for now and there are a few guards keeping watch. The players decided to rest up at the towns inn before delving into the crypt in the morning. After that I will be trying to get the players to research this strange book they've found. A green scaled book with a glass dragons eye on the cover. Eventually they will be lead to the swamp of sorrows where they will find more answers to their many questions. So I have the swamps done and I have like 24 hours to get this crypt done. Gogo gadget hot glue gun.

Managed to bust this little set piece out this morning. Cultist Basement: Some new stuff I tried here. First being hand crafting the pigs head and intestines. Second was making molds for some skeleton parts then using hot glue to fill them. I think that they turned out awesome for the pile of skeleton rubble. Hope you enjoy.

Some new stuff. Ring of fire, eldritch blast spell tokens(used for marking targets before attack rolls are made), and at hastings they had some booster pathfinder packs so I bought 2 zombie ones and got a hag and a skeleton. They fit nicely with the set. The PCs picked the wrong cellar to walk into.

Wrapped some thin clay around some of the new skeleton pieces. These are making some excellent set pieces.

First picture: I primed him black, then I applied a base coat of a lighter steel color than the actual base coat color I wanted.
Second picture: I then used watered down darkened steel paint for my shadow washing. The water used is from my rinse cup when I primed him black(also 1 drop of dish soap is in the rinse cup) You can see how its still wet and pools up in the cracks. It darkens the light base coat I started with. I did about 2 full coats then a touch up coat on the sections I wanted darker.
Third picture: I dry brushed starting with the desired base coat color (I used citadel Runefang Steel), then lightened that color with each layer. I think it was 3-4 layers of brushing.

Very cool thread. Love the minis. I had forgotten all about Key to the Kingdom. I would definitely pay $.20 for it. I'm curious about how you made the hobgoblin out of one of them, though. Did you attach a head from another figure or sculpt it yourself? Either way, it looks great.

Thanks bloodchoke! The head was from a mold I made from sculpty gray. I just flattened a smooth ball of clay and pressed my goblin figure head into it. I then carefully pulled it out and the details held. Baked that, then rolled a small ball of gray sculpty and pressed it into the mold. Pulled that out then shaped the hood. It was worth it. I did the same thing on the skulls. Omg soo many skulls. One trick I found on this method is if your clay gets to soft and you start losing detail I just tossed the pieces I was working on in the freezer for a min.

Well, I'll be damned, what a brilliant idea. Thanks!
BTW, the current highest bid for Key to Kingdom on Ebay is $27. It's your fault that I know that, lol.

Damn. The box I got looked like it still had all the pieces too. I never even heard of the game, just saw it in the stack of board games and the name caught my eye. Hopefully you can get lucky at a thrift store.
