Hi everyone! This is my first time posting on here, though I've been following things for quite a while. I do have a request, tho. Weapons racks. Medieval-ish style. Well, for swords, axes etc. I have a bunch of extra weapons and bits laying around in my mini drawer, and I am wanting to make a weapons rack (or four... ) to display them for either in a shop or in an armory room in a dungeon. I know I could just have the weapons laying around, or 'hanging' from the walls etc, but having a movable set of weapons racks without having to spend a ton of money on ones already crafted/with built on weapons would be wonderful. Thanks in advance for any help/ideas of how to craft these. Or if anyone know if this has already been done and my searchings have failed in bringing them forward. Cheers! Sery

One of the easiest ways to approach this is to simply make a table with only 2 legs, then stand it on end. You could put a matchstick across them as the piece that holds them in place.
You could also make something like a tall sawhorse, and put boards across the legs.

I made one of these, pretty easily in fact... i made a shelf without the inside stuff. the i simply glued the weapons to the back of the shelf and voila. making th eweapons is far harder then making the rack itself seriously.

I've made a couple of weapon racks. The easiest is to do as beetlewing and DnDPally have suggested. I've also used polymer clay (Sculpey) to create more decorative weapon racks. The racks themselves are pretty easy, especially compared to making a bunch of halfway believable weapons...
