Here she is. I repurposed my flying stands to hold the levels above each other. I used metal binder clips (small) and dowel rod crossbars to hold everything up. Medbay and the sciences lab. Command deck with "multi use" room. Maneuver drive to the right. Cargo hold. FTL drive to the right. More of the cargo hold. View from the front, before everyone arrived. Bridge in the foreground. SS Jailbreak in use. Exploring the wreckage of the ISS Oubliette. Slaad are stand ins for alien space zombies!

Super cool. Takes 2.5D to the next 3 levels.

Just a superb job! It is awesome to see all the little components being worked out and then the whole thing put together. Excellent work!

This is AWESOME! Certainly a cool way to integrate 3D into the 2.5D.

If you're going to keep using the pieces, you might want to add a third set of supports between the two current ones as the bowing looks like it could lead to trouble at some point

To cardboard and beyond Awesome, how easy was the 3 levels to play on?

To cardboard and beyond Awesome, how easy was the 3 levels to play on? There's quite a bit of space between the layers, so the guys didn't have trouble moving their minis around. It's hard to see the bottom level sometimes. I think we'll have a serious encounter aboard the ship this session. I'll let you know more.

Dude! Just...where do I start? You could do so much more to this already excellent idea! I am thinking lighting possibly LED's or... I dunno where to start it has both a RPG feel but also somehow I get this board game vibe also! BTW I took points off for unpainted minis but with work like that only my PMOCD (Painted Mini OCD) barley tripped! Great work! I may have to "borrow" this idea!

I know how you feel about unpainted minis, but I have a reputation for killing low level PCs. Well, they kill themselves in the situations I set up... potato/potato... Anyway, my players have gotten into the habit of not painting/getting too attached to their PCs or minis until level 2 or 3... Can't blame them...

One of my players wants me to add LEDs. The bottom two levels are darker to play on than the top.

I assume the levels are removable? Yes. They just sit on the dowel crossbars. Totally disassembles.
