I would like to donate to the cause, but there is no way of doing so. Enough donations might mean we'd be free of ads, have access to better/more advanced plugins, and could buy Admin, DMScotty, @aj, thedmg and hasbinbad an occasional beer for all their hard work in setting up, organizing, maintaining and policing this awesome community. I have enough faith in all of them to trust them with my (and anyone else's) voluntarily donated money, and feel confident it would never be abused. I cannot express enough how much I cherish The DM's Craft. It's an almost endless source of knowledge, technique, insight, experience, advice, inspiration and dare I say friendship. For that, I thank everyone on here, from the admins all the way down to the occasional poster. I met Draklith in real life thanks to this forum, and we have forged a strong friendship as a result. This board has literally changed my life. I try to give back to the community as much as I can, by posting tutorials. While the admins may enjoy some of my posts as much as the "regular" users, I would like to do more for them because they sacrifice tons of time behind the scenes making sure everything is running smoothly. I know - I've run many forums over the years. Here is a link explaining how to insert a PayPal button into the header or footer of the site: support.proboards.com/thread/381051Keep up the good work everyone. Cheers!

This is a very good idea. I agree with everything you said, this is an amazing board. I have learned tons of useful info on the craft and I would be happy to give back.

I thank you for your kind words. I have never had to use my admin powers once, except to possibly add a link or something to a post. AJ and Admin do most of the heavy lifting. Scotty whips them.
I make money from the ads on my videos and people watch my videos in part because of this group so I give my time to it. However, I like to see what others are doing too, so it is a win win.
I defer to the others on this

I, also,am extremely grateful to this forum for the friendships, the ideas, and the support. All of you folks, no matter where you live, are some of the best people I've ever had the privilege to communicate with. You have brought extra joy, purpose and laughter into my life and those are precious gifts. Thank you!

I've never looked at the donation part of the forum, I'll take a look at setting up some sort of donation if that's what you guys want. It will sometime after Christmas though and I'm not promising anything.

YouTube just came out with a tip jar. I have no code to paste here but if you go to the DM's Craft & DMG YouTube pages you can donate directly to your favorite creators. The tip Jar resides on the right side of the page. In the future we will be able to have it directly in vids but that is not yet implemented. I am in no way asking for $$$ but I have had many say they would like to donate with no way to do it. Any and all donations are appreciated and help the DMG and I bring you more vids and upgrade our equiptment. Go forth and craft!
