In the process of creating a DM screen for 5e, partially using info from the final release book. Figured I'd share the pdf file as I build it, in case anyone else wants to print/cut/paste the info into their own screen. This is not meant to be a complete screen, but rather chunks of info you can insert into your own screen with a good 'ol gluestick or tape. Warning: I like my screens to be plain black & white. While fancy parchment backgrounds and funky fonts are nice, I find them distracting during crunch-time. I'll update this post as I update the file. Page 1 contains: - [5e] Typical Difficulty Classes - [5e] Size Categories - [5e] Ability Score Modifiers - [5e] Travel Pace - [5e] Food, Drink & Lodging - [5e] Services - [5e] Falling & Suffocation - [5e] Conditions Page 2 contains: - [5e] Common Objects (HP & Break DC) - [5e] Random Weapons (for treasure or enemies) - Shop Prices & Variety (prices = cheap, affordable, pricey, etc.. not 2cp, 1sp, 3gp) - Weather - NPC Random Features - Quality (could be used for many things) - Business Activity - Town Events (non-story related... but could be) - Crowd Temperament (thanks Cyan Wisp) - Insignias & Jewelry (EXTREMELY versatile table. Has notes on other uses) NOTE: The data in the tables on page 1 and the top of page 2 are pulled from 5e. The rest is non system specific, and would work in any game system. I feel that this is the direction that the rest of the file will go.5e DM Screen BlocksIf you have viewed earlier versions and seem to be missing a recently added page, hit refresh when viewing the file in your browser. Hope someone finds this useful. Cheers!

A useful collection so far. I appreciate the inclusion of tavern prices!

Indeed, I am on the same quest, anf verily, the coin needed to purchase fare at ye olde Tavern is a boon to have!
My inclusion of information on a DM screen is a bit odd, because the more "typical" rules really don't concern me so much. Once a rule gets ingrained in my brain, I don't need it so much for reference.
However, getting info that can help run the minutia of a town, or to make a dungeon on the fly...now that's handy info.

Exactly my stance on it as well, and it'll show in the final file, I'm sure. My goal was to collect/create that odd minutiae.
