Big improvement on those original gaudy colours. They look good! Love the frogs and the stripy snake. Bravo!

Don't under-estimate the fun and value of Frankensteining your bugs dungeonmistress.

True. I just didn't feel I was ready for such a big step, yet. Perhaps with the next batch. If we're having a lightening storm, that is. Muahahahahahaha! What's that, Egor? Oh, yes, good Egor. Remember I want the brain that says 'Normal' on the label.

Brilliant on the bases! Incredibly nice touch -- really sets them apart from the usual dungeon fair. Super job on the painting, as well. Thank you for the inspiration! Cheers!

Could I get some help working out the stat blocks for the critters in my last pic above? Game on Sunday and have too much to do between now and then.

The bark base for the bugs is great. I am going to 'steal' this idea too.

Nice job. I have some packs of those same bugs. I did use the centipede and fly out of that pack but wasn't sure about the grasshopper and praying mantis. They look great so I guess I will get to work on them. With the centipede you can try melting a paperclip into it and molding it into shape. It was a real pain but it came out decent in the end.

I wouldn't mind hearing a bit more about how you did that...
