I once created an entire dungeon with not even one monster in it. I named it the halls of torture and tucked it away in my file of "don't use, too nasty". Then one night about 15 years ago all the people I had tried to get together for months showed up at the same time for game night. I looked across the table at 13 players and sighed. I pulled out the adventure and preceeded to decimate the entire party, the rogue died first to a poisoned needle keyhole trap. It ended up being a blast, every door, every turn, and every step was made with fear of some trap killing them. It was my first and only full party kill. I ended up having two full parties after that night and they always laughed about the only player with detect traps dieing right off the bat. They also didn't miss game nights in fear of a repeat performance by yours truly.

I'd love to run a one-off deadly adventure for Halloween this year. Great story!

I've searched high and low for the complete adventure I made but alas I can only find some notes from a game where I used part of it. That though has given me the idea of building it again...I'll see what I can do next week when I have some time off.

A traps-only dungeon would make for an interesting craftwar.

I managed to semi-rebuild the dungeon from my notes. Ive had to re-make whole sections of it but its done. Ive got an idea on how i can use it in my current campaign so im going to do something alittle different for it. I'll build the tiles and explain each room of the adventure as i go. I think this will be a fun project to tackle. It will be a few weeks before I'll be able to start it since im still building for the next session im running, but after that its full throttle. Thanks for all the intrest in this.
